Books are a great way to teach social skills, emotion management and character values to our children in a fun way. Read or watch the read-aloud videos together and then discuss the story. Some questions to ask:
What were the characters feeling and why did they feel that way?
What choices did they make and what happened as a result of those choices?
How did the other characters feel and what did they think after that choice was made?
What lessons did the character learn?
What can you do if you feel scared, angry, worried or sad?
