Create and input information in your CSU Application Account (Starting October 1)
Submit CSU Application (October 1-November 30)
Use Cal State Application to apply to any of the 23 campuses
$70 fee per campus, but students who qualify for fee waivers due to family income can apply to up to 4 CSU’s for free
No need to submit official transcripts or AP scores when applying
You must self-report your grades and AP scores, and you will be required to submit your final transcript and AP scores once you commit to the school
Your 10-digit CA SSID can be found on your Aeries account or on your high school transcripts. This is NOT your 9 digit Student ID! If you need help finding it, please contact your high school counselor.
Once an application has been submitted, the information on the application cannot be edited by logging back into Cal State Apply. Please contact the campus(es) to which applied and work with them to provide the new information.
If you have A-G courses to add from middle school (i.e. Math I and Spanish I), be sure to include Portola High School within the school year you were in middle school, and add “Trimester System”.
Do I need to send my transcripts along with my CSU application?
Please note that you will NOT need to request transcripts when applying to CSU schools. You will need to submit a final transcript only after you have committed to a CSU school.
