Designed for new students who have never attended college, IVC's Freshman Advantage Program gives students the opportunity to apply early, receive an early Freshman Advantage registration time, and enroll in courses ahead of most currently enrolled IVC students.
The Irvine Valley College Honors Program is designed to meet the needs of academically talented and highly motivated students. The program offers eligible students access to the following opportunities:
Small, seminar-style honors classes
Enriched coursework
Interaction with other motivated students
Recognition on transcripts and at graduation
Guaranteed priority admission review at many transfer institutions, including UCLA and UCI
Dedicated honors scholarships
Designated honors counselor
Priority registration for classes
Honors study lounge in LA 107

​Future Pirate Registration (FPR) is for all incoming Orange Coast College students. FPR offers in-person and virtual assistance throughout the registration process, as well as events designed for helping new students navigate the steps of becoming a Pirate.
The mission of the Orange Coast College Honors Program is to create a growing community of scholars in which highly motivated students and faculty engage in enriched academic experiences, and students enjoy enhanced scholarship and transfer opportunities.
The Freshman Advantage Program is designed for new incoming freshmen of any age that will be attending Saddleback College in the Fall 2021 Semester. This program offers new freshmen the opportunity to apply early, complete the Matriculation Process early, receive an early Freshman Advantage registration date, and enroll in classes before the majority of new and continuing students.
The Saddleback College Honors Program is an interdisciplinary effort to develop exceptional talent, ability, and scholarship in highly motivated students of all backgrounds in all majors.
Honors students include
Certificate-Track Students,
who must submit an application to the Honors Program in order to earn the Honors Certificate and be eligible for priority registration, Honors Counseling, and participation in Honors transfer partnerships, and
Walk-In Students,
who want to take only one or two Honors courses, for which no application is required.
