P1 Precedent and Architecture (20%):
Project 1 is an introductory project by which students are required to study and explore the elements of design including the different type of spatial organization, design principle order, contextual response and so on through simple design exercises. Through Project 1A: Reading Precedent, students will be exposed into a few precedents. Subsequently, students are required to identify and analyze the design elements of the chosen precedent. By incorporating the strategies in project 1A, students are required to represent their interpretation of design into 3D form in Project 1B: Viewing Tower / Walkway. Focusing on the exploration of ideas ; Solid & Void or Figure & Ground.

P2 Tourist Information Centre (70%):
Taman Saujana Hijau, Precint 11, Putrajaya will be your site context, you will commence the Project 2- Tourist Information Centre with an extensive site study, focusing on the essence of place and defining the sensory elements that will soon drive your design. Spatial organisation will be the main emphasis for this project, advocated by your strong desire to emulate the knowledge gained from the precedent study (Project 1a) and case study (P2-A1).
