The PA STEM Rubric aids districts in developing a vision of STEM that answers the question, "Why STEM?" The rubric is intended to be used by administrative leadership and a team of district staff who are integral to the formation and maintenance of the district's K-12 STEM curriculum and may include curriculum directors, educators, counselors, or others.
By participating in the PA STEM Rubric visioning process, districts will gain a clearer picture of their STEM philosophy and their goals for K-12 integration of STEM with actionable steps to achieve their goals.

This collection of documents is designed to help individual teachers or small groups of teachers (such as a team or content area department) self-evaluate their STEM integration and pursue a transdisciplinary model of STEM. Use the STEM Lesson Checklist to evaluate a lesson's alignment to the transdisciplinary model, find inspiration for improving that alignment in the Companion Resources document, and make a plan for bringing your vision of STEM to reality with the STEM Visioning Tool.
