Due to COVID19, Career Academy 2020 is canceled. Check back again for JULY 2021 dates!
The health and safety of campers and staff are always a top priority. As we get closer to the summer and the opening of camp, we will solidify our plans to make sure everyone at Career Academy is safe and healthy at the start and for the duration of camp. We will have a licensed nurse on-site at each camp to assist with camper medical needs. The Lincoln Intermediate Unit will continue to work diligently with the PA Department of Health, local health agencies, and PA Department of Education to implement any recommended best practices and policies according to the latest guidelines.
Drop off students between 7:45-8:00am
Camp runs from 8:00am-3:30pm
Pick up students between 3:30pm and 3:45pm
For more information or questions, contact Melissa-Ann Pero, Career Academy Coordinator
To ensure your child’s safety, please pick him/her up promptly after camp. Parent/guardians must provide authorized pick-up person(s) on registration form.
For the safety of all Campers, a pick-up/carpool placard must be visible on the dashboard from the front window. Printable carpool placards will be emailed with complete pick up procedures when your camper's registration is confirmed. If not posted and clearly visible, Career Academy staff will require the pick-up person to park and show a legal picture ID to pick up camper.
At any age, we recommend that all campers are accompanied by an adult or be a car rider to and from camp. However, parents may provide consent to campers ages 10 and up if desired. Walker permission is required to give parent/guardian consent. Even as a “walker”, parent/guardian is expected to provide alternative transportation contact info.
To ensure a positive experience and safety for all students, campers are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
Use of any and all equipment only under the direction and guidance of an instructor.
Appropriate attire is expected. Please refer to course catalog for specific requirements for Automotive service & Repair and Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair.
Treat all participants with respect.
Follow the directions of all Career Academy staff.
Refrain from cell phone use during instruction and activities.
Use appropriate language.
Students demonstrating behavior that interferes with the safety or learning experiences of other camp participants will be removed from the program, and no refund will be given.
