During my time at IUI, I’ve gained valuable professional experience through diverse roles that have shaped my skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Working as a server in a fast-paced downtown restaurant taught me how to adapt under pressure, build rapport with diverse individuals, and manage multiple priorities effectively—skills that are crucial for team management. My years of working with children enhanced my patience, adaptability, and ability to plan and execute activities, fostering strong communication and collaboration skills. As a fundraising and development intern at Jameson Camp, I gained hands-on experience in event planning, donor relations, and community engagement. I learned how to align organizational goals with community needs while managing strategic projects that drive impact. Collectively, these experiences have prepared me for future professional roles by honing my ability to work with diverse teams, manage complex projects, and engage with communities meaningfully. My multifaceted background has equipped me with the tools to excel in healthcare administration and positively impact those I serve.
