Hi! My name is Madison Campbell, but I go by Madi. I'm a senior at IUPUI, and I'm studying biology with a pre-med concentration. After I complete my undergraduate degree, I plan on attending medical school. Currently, I am interested in pediatric general surgery, anesthesiology, and gastroenterology. During my freshman year, I had the opportunity to work under Dr. James Marrs and his research team in the IUPUI School of Science. While I was there, I learned valuable skills like how to gather/analyze data, take care of research subjects, and properly clean the lab area. As a sophomore, I was an LHSI intern for Dr. Emily Mueller, a pediatric hematology-oncologist at Riley Hospital for Children. During my junior and senior years, I continued working with Dr. Mueller and contributed further to LHSI by becoming an ambassador.

On this site, I will be describing my experience as an LHSI intern and LHSI ambassador and how I have gotten to this position in my undergraduate career.
