College Experiences

Throughout my time in college, I have gained valuable real-world experience through work and internships that have shaped my professional skills and career goals.

At Summit Radiology, I worked as a Radiology Coordinator where I supported the interventional radiology clinic by assisting physicians, coordinating imaging workflows, and serving as a communication liaison between departments. This role taught me the importance of operational efficiency, teamwork, and strong interpersonal communication. It helped me develop confidence working in fast-paced clinical environments, a skill that will be critical as I step into larger healthcare management roles.

In addition to my coordinator role, I completed an internship working alongside the Director of Radiology Services at Summit Radiology. Through this experience, I was able to observe leadership decision-making, assist with administrative projects, and participate in operational meetings. I learned how strategic leadership influences staffing, budgeting, and clinical operations. This experience showed me the importance of proactive leadership, strategic problem-solving, and maintaining a clear vision for organizational growth.

Together, these experiences have given me a strong foundation in healthcare operations, leadership development, and professional collaboration. They have prepared me to take the next steps in my career with the skills, knowledge, and drive to succeed in healthcare management.
