There are a variety of ways to get research help at the IU Southeast Library! We provide live chat, email, private consultations, and more!
Check out this page for an overview of how to get help.
Book-a-Librarian
For one-on-one research help, consider using our Book-a-Librarian service! These sessions can be in-person or virtually via Zoom.
During these sessions, your librarian can help with a number of things like:
How to find relevant databases.
How to determine if something is credible.
Brainstorming keywords.
Identifying research questions.
Beginner *or* advanced sessions for new or seasoned researchers.
This link takes you to a form where you can submit your question. It gets emailed to us and a librarian will respond! Email is asynchronous, of course, so don't use this if you need immediate answers or assistance! Instead, check out Live Chat or visit us in-person!
Stop by In-Person @ the Service Desk!
You can always get research help in-person anytime the Library is open by visiting the Service Desk. Let the person at the desk know you need some help with research and a Peer Research Assistant OR a librarian will be on hand to help you.
