Hello, and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Erin Rawlins, and I am currently finishing my degree in Health Services Management. I have a strong interest in improving the quality of care and operational excellence within healthcare facilities, especially those that serve aging populations. With a blend of academic training and hands-on experience, I am committed to growing as a compassionate, knowledgeable, and effective healthcare leader.
My ultimate goal is to become an Executive Director or Administrator in a long-term care setting. Starting in June, I will be gaining valuable experience as an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) with BHI Senior Living. This opportunity has fueled my passion for senior care and deepened my understanding of what it takes to lead with integrity, empathy, and professionalism in this vital field.
I chose to major in Health Services Management because I have always been drawn to the healthcare field, particularly the systems and leadership that make high-quality care possible. As I explored different career paths, I realized that I could make a meaningful impact by supporting both patients and staff through strong leadership and efficient facility operations.
My specific interest in long-term care came from seeing how essential compassionate, consistent care is to older adults and their families. Working with BHI Senior Living has only strengthened my desire to serve this population. I’m excited to continue building my career in senior care and look forward to the day I can take on a leadership role that helps shape the future of long-term care services.
