The Chronicle of Health Impact Assessment (CHIA) Journal is an open access online journal. It is a joint effort between IU Fairbanks School of Public Health and the Society of Practitioners of Health Impact Assessment. The journal provides an outlet for HIA practitioners to share research of their work, practical tips from the field, educational practices and book reviews. The focus of HIA work is to support community engagement and decrease health inequities which are core values of this process. The field is broadening to include Health in All Policies work and revised methods such as health notes for state legislators.
