My Professional Steps Post Graduation
After graduation in the Spring of 2025, I will find a full-time position at my current internship site at the Barrington of Carmel. During my internship, I built friendships with the residents and staff, which encouraged me to continue serving the senior community and developing projects and activities that will improve their overall health. For the long term, I would like to do the BHI Administrator in Training (AIT) program to become an administrator to oversee the operations and quality of the organization.

Thinking ahead of my professional goals, I am interested in the AIT program and want to enhance my knowledge in health services management by pursuing a degree in MHA in graduate school. I plan to network more with the administrators and staff at my internship site, as well as with other healthcare organizations, using LinkedIn and by attending professional events. I will also continue to stay connected with my IUI career professors and mentors. I will also read books focused on enhancing professionalism in healthcare.
