Resources for Differentiation
CONTENT Resources
If curriculum objectives seem broad and open to interpretation, use a KUD chart to organize your teaching. Organizing your content will make it easier to plan differentiation activities and determine assessment strategies.
PROCESS Resources
Have students take a Multiple Intelligences Survey for Kids to help you identify how to best prepare engaging, student-centered instruction.
Shake up your lessons every day. There should be more than one type of instruction during a session and provide at least one opportunity for student choice to keep students engaged throughout your time together.
PRODUCT Resources
Using project-based learning is a great way to provide student voice and choice in product.
Using exit tickets are another way to assess students informally during a session. Students should be assessed during every session with iTutor to monitor progress.
ENVIRONMENT Resources
Using Growth Mindset as a model for a student-centered environment.
