Interview with David Lyttle
Jazz Drummer and Producer David Lyttle came to Itchen on October 10th 2016 while promoting his album "Faces". He did a presentation on working in the music industry to Creative Academy students, which included a live jam with various music students.
He then headed to Itchen Radio for an exclusive drum seminar and an interview with Molly Denton and Sam Cox.

David has been performing since the age of four, starting out in The Lyttle Family in Ireland. He is known for fusing Jazz with other styles of music such as Rap and R&B. Before this interview he had just been nominated for a MOBO award in 2015 for Best Jazz Act, the first Irishman to be nominated.
Among the many people David has collaborated with are Joe Lovano, Talib Kweli, Soweto Kinch, Duke Special, Andreas Varady, Jason Rebello, Jean Toussaint and Luis Stewart.
