How can we save Endangered Species?

Here are ways people help protect species from going extinct. There are also ways you can help yourself.

Why Save Endangered Species?

Some people ask, Why should we save endangered species? and I thought I should go through that before. Here is a short summary about that.

Ecosystems rely on plants and animals to survive and thrive. If species become threatened or extinct then the ecosystem is breaking apart. One extinct species and an ecosystem can crash. This can affect our health too. Also these species have a life and we can't just take all of theirs away. If all species go extinct the world wouldn't work.

How can we save endangered species?

People can save endangered species by helping in conservations and having protection centres where they help animals and release them back into the wild. They also protect them by having national parks and nature reserves which protect animals in them. Here are some ways you can help protect endangered animals at home:

Go to a National Park, Conservation Area or Nature Reserve in your area to support them.

Learn about endangered species in your area.

Make your home wildlife friendly.

Grow native plants in your backyard.

Don't use Pesticides or Herbicides.

Slow down when driving.(it can hit animals if you drive too fast)

Recycle and buy sustainable products.

Never Ever buy products from endangered, threatened or any animals.

Do not shoot, trap or force an endangered or any wild animal into captivity.

Protect wildlife habitat.
