We are excited to welcome you to the Pocatello and Anchorage Campuses for P1 Orientation. All incoming student pharmacists are required to participate in P1 Orientation in-person for two full days (no exceptions): Wednesday & Thursday, August 19-20, 2026.
Prior to P1 Orientation in Pocatello, Meridian-based student pharmacists are required to attend the Meridian New Student Welcome Event in Meridian on Tuesday, August 19, 2026 (see below). Don't worry, there will be plenty of time to drive to Pocatello following this event!

Alaska P1 Orientation

Parking: Please park in the UAA West Campus Central Lot (Zone 9701) and walk to the UAA/ISU Doctor of Pharmacy Program in the Professional Studies Building. Parking is $10 per day, and you can purchase ahead of time.
The White Coat Ceremony is a significant milestone, marking the beginning of your professional education. During this ceremony, each student will receive the white coat you will wear with pride throughout your time at Idaho State University.
