Well-being Program

Building a culture of well-being

Pharmacy is a profession based on taking care of others and making a positive difference in the health of patients, but are you practicing self-care? Well-being is the presence of positive emotions and moods (e.g., contentment, happiness), the absence of negative emotions (e.g., depression, anxiety), satisfaction with life, fulfillment and positive functioning. We developed the College of Pharmacy Well-being program to help students, faculty and staff find balance and learn to utilize well-being resources. The program features a speaker at least once per semester and independent activities and challenges each month to help you de-stress and provide you with the tools for balancing life's challenges and restore your energy.
