About Mr. Furry

It is hard to believe that it is my 23rd year teaching art! I have and continue to enjoy teaching art to elementary students. I love to see how they use their imagination and creativity. It's great working with kids to help them build skills, make connections to other subject matter, and facilitate an appreciation of the visual arts.

I did most of my growing up in Easton, PA. I received my B.S. in Art Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

I live in Statesville with my wife Victoria and my four children. My wife teaches kindergarten at Troutman elementary school. My oldest daughter Lilly goes to Crossroads where she will be in 10th grade this year. Campbell is an 8th grader at Oakwood Middle and Gigi is a 6th grader. Asher is a 3rd grader at Celeste.

In my non instructional time I enjoy reading, staying active, spending time with family, and if there is time left over, making art.
