Lesson 1
The Getty Museum in California came up with a challenge for people to recreate a work of art with objects (and people) in your home.
(Recreate as many pieces of art as you would like.)
Lesson 2
For this project you will be going on a color wheel scavenger hunt.
Collect items around your home to represent each color on the color wheel
*Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Violet, Orange*
Lay your items on the floor or a t and arrange them into your own color wheel.
Ideas:
You can create different shapes for your color wheel.
You can add in lighter and darker colors (pink, teal, lime green, etc.
Lesson 3
Tin Foil ( a plastic zip bag would work too)
Washable Markers
Paper
Water
(optional) Sharpie
Color with markers onto the tin foil.
Spray the foil with water.
Lay the paper on top and push down.
Pull up and see your beautiful creation!
*You can also sharpie a picture onto the paper and then lay it in the wet marker.

Lesson 4
This activity is based on the Brazilian artist Victor Nunes.
He takes everyday objects and changes them into a piece of art.
Below are just a few examples of his work.
You can create doodles, cartoons, faces, etc. You can use objects from outside (leaves, sticks), rubber bands, bottle caps, scissors, and more.
Lesson 5
Directions:
Go explore outside in nature or around your home and collect items that come from the earth.
Lay your natural objects in patterns, shapes, and pictures to create your art.
*Artwork is not always permanent which is what makes Earth Art a lot of fun!
