Lesson 1
The color wheel has 3 primary colors-red, yellow, and blue. When the primary colors are mixed together they create secondary colors-orange, green, and purple.
You can also separate the coloring into "warm colors" (yellow, red, orange)
and "cool colors" (blue, green, violet).

Lesson 2
For this project you will be able to experiment with a different way to paint!
You can mix coffee with a little water and create a new way to add color to your paper.

Then create your own dots with items around your house.

Lesson 4
For this project you will be using paper to create three-dimensional drawings.
You will learn about lines, shapes, and forms (which are 3D shapes).
Supplies:
Paper (cut into strips)
Scissors
Tape, Glue, or Glue stick
Pencil

Light
Base (pencil, straw, pipe cleaner, popsicle stick, etc)
*You can also just use your own hands to create shadows*
Steps:
Watch Ms. Shook's video on how to create paper shadow puppets.
Watch the "OliveUS" video to see how to create shadow puppets with just your hands.
Create your shadow puppets! You can make a background, act out a story with them, or work together with other people to make your story.

For this project you will be creating digital art using Sketchpad 5.1
You will be able to experiment with a variety of tools to create your art.

Lesson 7
For this project you will be creating texture rubbings.
Texture means the way things feel (ex-smooth, rough, bumpy, etc.)
Instructions:
Find items that have texture. You can go on a scavenger hunt around your house or outside.
Lay a piece of paper (thin paper works best) and rub crayons over the top.
You can mix crayon colors, overlap objects, add designs around your rubbings.

For this project you will be coming up with a way to create a clever disguise for your turkey.
Is your turkey hiding in a crayon box? Is it dressed up as a character? Does your turkey have a job or uniform? The possibilities are endless!

You can color on top of your turkey or cut and glue items on top of it.
