Demystifying Portrait Drawing – Scaffolding for Success (MS, US/Hands-on)

Participants will engage in a series of hands-on drawing exercises that Petr uses in his MS Studio during a Self-Portraiture unit with his 8th graders. We’ll work through the layers of the unit step by step, exploring ways to make realistic drawing - and portrait and self-portrait drawing in particular - feel more approachable, playful, and achievable.
