It also briefly explains the impact that microplastics have had on the environment and actions that have been taken to reduce them. Beat the Microbead by the Plastic Soup Foundation (NGO - Non-Governmental Organization)
The Plastic Soup Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating microbeads and plastic waste with their app which allows buyers to scan cosmetics to see if they contain microplastics. Their 'Beat the Microbead' campaign is dedicated to plastic waste in the cosmetics industry. Excellent resources and easy to read information, especially in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section regarding microplastics, and plastic pollution in general.
