The DiBella Family
Mrs. DiBella (who some of you may remember as Miss Sherbach) has been a member of the Island Trees HS Guidance Department since the fall of 2005. Prior to becoming a Bulldog, she was first a Binghamton Bearcat where spent her four years of college braving the arctic temperatures of upstate, New York. At Binghamton, she ran the tour program for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and also served as an RA for the Department of Residential Life. Her advice for those of you heading off to college: get involved on campus! It makes a world of difference.
After obtaining her MS in School Counseling from LIU Post, she started working as a counselor at ITHS and became the Guidance Chairperson in 2010. She received her MS in School District Leadership from Touro College. Mrs. DiBella is currently the AP, SAT, and PSAT testing coordinator and oversees the Student of the Month Committee.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children - Ava and Drew (who consider themselves honorary Bulldogs). She also loves country music, Dole Whip, reading, cooking, watching Modern Family reruns and all things Disney. Her least favorite season is summer because it is the only time of year she cannot take advantage of her extensive hoodie collection.
