We are incredibly excited to be part of ISKL’s Community Sports program.
A little background on us, FastBreak is the leading provider of quality basketball instruction in Singapore. Established in 2007, they have been the long term partner of Singapore American School (SAS) since that year and United World College East (UWCE) since 2011. FastBreak has assisted students in Singapore in their basketball development for 17 years, but most importantly, in utilising basketball as our medium for character development for our students.
For beginners aged from 4-11. These programs have a curriculum based on teaching the fundamentals of the game through fun games and competitions.
Programs designed for intermediate players looking for a once a week “taste” of the sport, or as an additional contact for competitive players/ Our recreational programs utilise the 3x3 game of basketball and teach students how to organise, coach, referee and score themselves.
Programs for players who train at least once per week and play games on weekends.
To run over school holidays - more details will be published closer to holidays or please contact us for further information

After a successful career as an executive in the music industry, Kiran returned to his love of basketball, coaching multiple teams at Singapore American School across Middle School and High School Divisions whilst working as a teacher at the school.
In 2015 he came back to the FastBreak fold, both as a head coach and as the General Manager of the company. Kiran’s wife, Tracy, graduated from ISKL in 1996.
During his playing career, Coach Ghazi has competed at the highest levels in Malaysian basketball, earning his first opportunity as a professional basketball player with the KL Dragons as well as being selected 5 times to play in the annual Agong Cup - the most prestigious basketball tournament in Malaysia.
His passion for the game led him to become a coach, starting off as a volunteer for local schools and coaching at local basketball academies before going on to work with some of the most renowned international schools in Malaysia such as Alice Smith, ISKL, and MKIS, leading several teams to championship titles at FOBISIA. Coach Ghazi's 10+ years of coaching experience also include being the head coach of the JR NBA program in Malaysia from 2014 to 2020, where he ran training clinics at numerous schools across multiple states and was responsible for leading training camps and selections which were attended by several batches of promising young players who went on to play at the professional and national level.
As a certified strength and conditioning coach, Coach Ghazi has a holistic approach to basketball training where he pays close attention to both all-round skills development and physical conditioning. A firm believer that greatness in basketball is not limited by size or talent, he constantly focuses on the smallest details so that he can tailor his approach to each individual, helping them become the best players they can possibly be.
Coach JY has been passionately involved in basketball since the age of 10. He began his basketball career in Perlis, where he played for his primary school team. Throughout his youth, he competed in various age categories from U12 to U17 and represented Perlis in Malaysian National Youth tournaments.
After that, Coach JY had the opportunity to study at Malaysia Sport School Pahang, a government institution dedicated to developing Malaysian student-athletes. There, he successfully completed his two-year pre-university courses.
Coach JY's university career was marked by significant achievements. Playing as the captain and starting point guard for University Malaya, he led his team to back-to-back championships in the Malaysian University Sport Council (MASUM) in 2023 and 2024, an accomplishment that school had never achieved before.
With extensive experience, knowledge and leadership, Coach JY is dedicated to developing the next generation of basketball players.
