Duo Sparks Badminton Academy

Founded in 2012 by two former national badminton players, Duo Sparks Badminton Academy is driven by a deep passion and commitment to the sport. As a professional badminton centre, we provide high-quality coaching for students, social players, and competitive athletes across Malaysia. Our Head Coaches, Daphne Ng and Sabrina Chong, both ex-national players under the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), bring years of elite-level experience to their training approach.

Our mission is to ensure every player enjoys a rewarding badminton development journey while empowering them to reach their fullest potential.

Program Features

Beginner

For children in Grades 3-12, designed to help players develop fundamental badminton skills through drills and practice games through expert coaching and guidance.

Please bring your own racket to class.

Intermediate / Advanced

These badminton classes are for intermediate and advanced players in Grades 3–12.

Enrollment is by selection only.

Group & Private Training

Group and private training sessions are available.

Students may choose to join a group class or book one-on-one training for more personalised coaching.

Meet The Coaches

Coach Daphne Ng

Daphne Ng is the co-founder and head coach of Duo Sparks Badminton Academy, established in 2012. An award-winning coach recognized for innovation in sports by the National Institute of Sport (ISN), she is a former Malaysian national player who brings extensive experience and passion to developing players of all levels.

Coach Sabrina Chong

Co-Founder of Duo Sparks and a former national badminton player, she is passionate about sharing her experience and knowledge with the younger generation and anyone eager to learn more about the sport. She is highly observant, skilled in strategizing effective game plans, and excels in communicating with players to bring out their best performance.

Coach Cleven is fun, dedicated, and works exceptionally well with children and teenagers. Passionate about bringing out the best in every player, he combines enthusiasm with a supportive coaching approach to help players grow in skill and confidence.
