More Plastic

This year, the plan is to continue focusing on grass root plastic recycling projects.

This involves:

• Building an injection molding machine, in addition to the plastic shredder and the compression machine. This will increase the ability of our product creation and allow us to create , storage containers, lego, spoons, and forks, mugs, lids and small containers.

• We have also launched our new Initiative Plastiki Rafiki where we aim to collect plastic from different locations around Kenya, such as Lamu, Maasai Mara, Ol Pejeta etc. and give each piece of plastic trash a new function. We are starting with a collection of jewelry consisting of bracelets, pendants and key chains.
• The mission is to lead the community around us in a small step towards fighting plastic trash.
• In effect we plan to start a ripple of other initiatives and startups based around the same concept.
