We worked on this project with several people that helped us and taught us more about sustainable cities.
First we worked with a photographer who taught us how to take pictures because the aim of the project was to visit some places and take pictures of the cities we were going to visit. He also taught us how to make videos; so that we could make a few live interviews.
We even worked with an architect who told us about Agenda 2030, and focused on goal 11, the one about sustainable cities and communities. In fact, during our lessons with the architect, we learned about sustainability in terms of social communities and what a city has to do to be called "sustainable". We also talked about inclusion and how to be inclusive. We then went to Milan, where we saw the vertical forest, Leonardo's vineyard, The Navigli area. During our permanence in Milan, our task was to determine if it was a sustainable city or not and to see places that were suggested by the architect as sustainable and inclusive within the city. We also visited Bologna, where we saw via Milano and via Procaccini, urban areas that have been redeveloped and that are meant to be sustainable and accessible by all ages.
Together with the architect we saw examples of sustainable urban projects that also took into account the issues of elderly people, children, people with disabilities
It was a course in which we learned how to take good photos and make good videos.
In order to practice the photographer gave us some exercises like photographing a place we liked, a place we didn't like and a source of light (a candle or a lamp).
