This webpage has been created by G. Bruno students (Class 2BLB a.s. 2019-20) in order to promote gender equality. An understanding of what the promotion of gender equality should mean and how to go about doing this is extremely important. Here we offer some ideas and some suggestions about how to promote gender equality.

HOW DO YOU RAISE A NEW GENERATION OF STUDENTS?
As a teacher, I have asked myself how to promote gender equality at school. Being inspired by Chimananda's suggestions, I have adopted her "must-do"list of actions:
Teach students self-reliance.
Teach them to love books.
Teach them to ask questions.
Teach them that feminism and femininity are not mutually exclusive.
Teach them that men can be feminists.
Never speak of marriage as an achievement.
Teach them about difference. Make difference ordinary.
Teach them about privilege and inequality and the importance of giving dignity to everyone.
Measure them on a scale of being the best version of themselves.
Give them a sense of identity.
