中華研究中心舉辦教師發展活動 - 觀賞中國現代話劇《雷雨》

2025年3月5日，中華研究中心組織了約15位中小學教師參加了一場教師發展活動，主題是觀賞中國現代話劇《雷雨》。當晚的演出在香港演藝學院的歌劇院舉行。

《雷雨》是中國現代文學中的經典之作，透過其複雜的人物關係和深刻的社會議題，促使教師們重新思考教育與人生的意義。

在活動中，教師們不僅欣賞了精彩的表演，還積極彼此交流，分享各自對劇作的見解和感受。此次活動不僅增進了教師的專業發展，還促進了對中國現代文學經典的認識與欣賞，使教師們可持續學習和成長。

CRC organized a Teacher Development Activity – To Watch the Modern Chinese Drama "Thunderstorm"

On March 5, 2025, the Chinese Research Centre organized a teacher development activity for approximately 15 primary and secondary school teachers, centered around watching the Modern Chinese drama "Thunderstorm." The performance took place at the Lyric Theatre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

"Thunderstorm" is a classic work of modern Chinese literature that encourages teachers to reconsider the meanings of education and life through its complex character relationships and profound social issues.

During the event, the teachers not only enjoyed an outstanding performance but also engaged in meaningful exchanges, sharing their insights and feelings about the play. This activity not only enhanced the professional development of the teachers but also deepened their understanding and appreciation of modern Chinese classic literature, enabling them to continue learning and growing.

參觀香港藝術館專題展覽「尋香記」

Visited the Special Exhibition “Fragrance of Time” at the Hong Kong Museum of Art

在2024年10月4日全體教職員專業進修日，中華研究中心組織約20位中、小學教師參觀是次專題展覽。此次展覽深入探索「香」在文化和藝術中的重要性，提供豐富的視覺和感官體驗。

在參觀過程中，教師們不僅欣賞了多件藝術作品，還了解到香氣在不同時代和文化中的歷史背景。這次活動增進了教師們對藝術的理解之餘，也促進了彼此間的交流和合作。此次參觀活動讓參與的教師們感受到藝術與教育的緊密聯繫，並激發了他們在教學中融入藝術元素的靈感。希望未來能有更多類似的活動，讓教師們持續拓展視野。

During Professional Development Day on October 4, 2024, the Chinese Research Center arranged for around 20 Primary and Secondary teachers from The ISF Academy to visit this special exhibition. This exhibition explored the significance of scent in culture and art, providing a rich visual and sensory experience.

Throughout the visit, teachers not only appreciated various artworks but also learned about the historical context of scents across different eras and cultures. This activity enhanced their understanding of art while fostering communication and collaboration among participants. This visit allowed participating teachers to feel the close connection between art and education, inspiring them to incorporate artistic elements into their teaching. In the future, we hope to organize more similar activities to continue expanding our teachers’ horizons.

集思廣益傳揚中華文化

Gathering Wisdom to Promote Chinese Culture

本中心於2024年9月13日中秋節前夕在B 大樓 620室成功舉辦「中華文化交流會」，許多熱愛中華文化的弘立社群成員皆參與其中，包括十三位來自中小幼各學部、「 書院 」中文經典、立人的老師及中小學圖書館代表等。

會議上，總監張玉龍博士分享了中華研究中心本學年計劃的各項活動和構想。隨後，來自不同部門的老師，分享了他們未來與推動中華文化有關的計劃，例如中秋節、農曆新年活動及中華文化週等。大家都充滿熱情地為推廣中華文化而努力，期望在校園令學生及老師更切身感受中華文化氛圍。

On September 13, 2024, our center successfully held a "Chinese Culture Exchange" on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival in B Block Room 620. Many members of the ISF community who love Chinese culture participated, including 13 teachers from the ISF Pre-School, Primary and Secondary divisions, the Shuyuan Chinese Classics team, and representatives from Li Ren, Primary and Secondary School libraries.

At the meeting, Director Dr. Zhang Yulong shared various activities and ideas planned by the Chinese Research Center for this academic year. Subsequently, other participants also shared their plans related to promoting Chinese culture, such as the Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year activities, and Chinese Culture Week. Everyone works passionately to promote Chinese culture and hopes to cultivate a vibrant atmosphere of Chinese culture among students and teachers.
