Where to look for information on your topic?

While defining your research question you will be doing some research already, e.g. to: 

• check for is more background information

• check if the topic is already 'done' and what niche you can research/explore further

• get a clearer idea to be able to narrow down your topic.

Where to start looking?

• Use search engines on the internet will for many of us be the first step (Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, ...)

• Ask people (teachers, parents, librarians, ...)

• Search the library catalogue to find books or magazines

• Use the databases the school is subscribed to

• Newspapers, Museums, Blogs, ...
