ACT Information
The ACT College Entrance exam will be given to ALL 11th grade students on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. This opportunity is free to students and will take approximately 3 hours to complete. For more information about the ACT exam, please visit act.org
Students can practice online for their ACT by going to March2Success. This is a free online test prep site that helps students prepare for standardized tests. Students will need to create an account to access this resource. For more information, please watch this video
Students wanting to take the ACT on their own (or in addition to the free test date at West), click here for more information. The full ACT (no writing) is $66 and the ACT (with writing) is $91
PSAT/NMSQT - Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
Both sophomores and juniors can take the PSAT
PSAT is typically offered in October.
The PSAT is merely practice for sophomores and any sophomore can sign up to take the PSAT. Sophomores who rank in the top 10% of their class are especially encouraged to take the PSAT their sophomore year
Students will be responsible for paying the fee to take the PSAT
MCA and NWEA Assessments
10th grade students will take part in the MCA Reading exam on April 10, 2025
11th grade students will be taking the MCA Math exam on April 22, 2025
10th grade students will be taking the MCA Science exam on April 29, 2025
