Owatonna Middle School Bands

Welcome to the OMS Bands website!  On this site you will find answers to many of your questions about our band program.  

Band at OMS has two main components; rehearsal and lessons.  Rehearsals are where we meet together to rehearse for concerts and learn new concepts.  6th and 7th graders meet every other day for one "skinny" of a period (39 minutes).  8th grade band meets every day for one "skinny".  Students have small group lessons on a regular schedule and are pulled from other classes.
