6th Grade Band
Description: Band is a year long course designed to provide students learning and performing opportunities on brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Curriculum for this course is an extension of 5th grade beginning band and includes the development of essential music skills that are necessary for students to perform a variety of music alone and with others. In addition to large group ensemble, students also participate in weekly small group lessons and have the option to participate in co-curricular music ensembles, honor bands, and other music activities.

7th Grade Band

8th Grade Band

6th Grade Choir
Description: Choir is offered in grades 6-8. The focus of this course will be on developing proper vocal technique, music theory, sight-reading and ear training. Choir offers the opportunity to participate in a vocal music program dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in music through performance. Choir meets every day and is a year long class. In addition to large group ensembles, students also participate in weekly small group lessons and have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular music ensembles, honor choirs, the musical, and other music activities.
