CAP Agency Food Shelf provides immediate food and resources to individuals and families to bridge them through difficult times and help them reach self-sufficiency. Their food shelf utilizes a consumer choice model – you select the food that best suits your needs. A 5 – 7 day supply of food is provided, once within a calendar month. We also provide our food shelf customers connections to additional resources they may need.

Ruby's Pantry is located at Glendale United Methodist Church, 13550 Glendale Rd Savage MN 55378 on the 3rd Monday of the Month. Doors open at 4:00 pm with distribution from 4:30-6:00 pm.
Second Harvest Heartland sponsors a free food give away the second Thursday of every month at Friendship Church, 17741 Fairlawn Ave, Prior Lake, MN 55372 from 5:30-7:30 pm. For more information, call 952-447-8282.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) WIC of Scott, Carver and Dakota counties ensures families have the nutritious food needed to create and sustain a healthy lifestyle. They also provide referrals to healthcare services as well as breastfeeding promotion and support. A key component of WIC is education, including nutrition assessment, and one-on-one counseling to help families make healthy choices.
