HEALTH INSURANCE
Beginning in September 2025, the District will be contracted with the Public Employees Insurance Program (PEIP) health benefits program managed by the Minnesota Department of Management and Budget (MMB). PEIP offers affordable, stable coverage with access to multiple plan designs and major network carriers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and HealthPartners.
PEIP's pooled structure helps control costs and reduce rate volatility, while tiered clinic options encourage efficient provider choices. PEIP is administered by Innovo Benefits Administration (Innovo). The PEIP Clinic Directory is available online at www.innovomn.com. The Innovo website also provides access to additional resources, including fill plan documents, a network pharmacy locator, and a formulary lookup tool.
