Off Season Training is critical to keeping your body in shape and preventing injury come Track or XC Season. The goal of this training is to build strength and endurance so that athletes are prepared to start out in a better spot for the official racing season. We want athletes coming in with a base so that we don't have to start from square one.
The programs listed below work really well together for athletes who are dedicated to their off-season training.
8 Week Training Program for Mid-Distance and Distance Athletes.
Workouts from Jan. 13th-Mar. 8th
This program was designed for you to be able to follow it on your own or with a group! If you do not have access to a gym or gym equipment, alternative movements are listed for each day.

Running Ability is an online training program designed for the most common running injuries. The trainer has created an 8 week program that works on mobility, strength, and maintenance.
If you have struggled with any running injury- this program is designed to decrease the chances of injury dramatically. The coaches will be doing this training over the winter in order to better equip ourselves with better knowledge for our athletes- we see this as really important for our team's success.
