Welcome to the home page of the White Bear Lake Area High School Theatre program!

The White Bear Lake High School's theatre program is open to all high schoolers and offers opportunities for students to take part in productions whether it is onstage, backstage, in the pit, or in the booth! We offer multiple production opportunities per year including our fall musical, competition one act, and spring play. We also offer a spring musical and student-directed productions on alternating years.

Our program has a strong standing in the theatre community. Our musicals have won multiple awards through the Hennepin Arts Spotlight Program every single year. Our competition one-acts have also been very successful with winners at the subsection finals, section finals, and state level! In 2026, our program was given the opportunity to be the first high school in the state of Minnesota (and the second in the nation!) to perform the 2017 Tony Award Winning Musical "Dear Evan Hansen".
