Welding I

Maximum Number of Students: 16 

Description: This course is a “hands-on” introduction to arc and oxy-acetylene welding. It covers the maintenance of welders and the use of other welding supplies and equipment. Students will weld mild steel and cast iron. In addition, students will design and fabricate a project out of scrap iron. This class is the pre-requisite to Welding 2, and Accelerated Metals.
