TODALS REVIEW- Students are taught basic map skills in previously taught MN history 6th grade. In 7th grade, we examine the U.S. Expansion of the North American Continent and apply map skills in addition to the historical research process.

As we examine the early history, students will be able to recognize key historical events that shaped the boundaries. In addition, students will be able to research specific conflicts/compromises that tell the story of America. For example, students will be able to describe why the boundary line of the 13 colonies along the AppalachianMountains.
