Grading

Formative Assessments: 25% of the student grade will based on smaller chunks of student evidence of understanding the skills/knowledge we are studying. These assessments will be frequent to ensure students are understanding the material so that they can be successful on the final unit assessment . They will be no retakes on formative assessments.

Summative assessments: 75% of the student grade will be based on the final unit assessment of the unit. Keep in mind, students can retake all summative assessments! Before/After school are the best times to schedule retakes.

The majority of our summative assessments will be conducted via digital resources such as google forms and quizizz. For this reason, students will be able to review their performance instantly and make an effort to retake tests as needed!
