THIS CLASS IS AN 8th GRADE ELECTIVE

Students will do projects, such as: Wood Signs, Wooden Spoons, Canoe Paddles, Coin Hole Boards, Bird Houses, Ring Toss Games (projects could change due to supply availability and other factors)

Students will learn to use power tools safely, follow directions for a project, while at the same time, putting their own creative spin on their work. Students will create and keep a digital portfolio to prepare them for what artists and entrepreneurs do to market themselves digitally.

Students will learn both art concepts, design concepts, and woodworking concepts while in this course.
