Art Workshop

THIS CLASS IS TAKEN IN EITHER 6th OR 7th GRADE

Students will do projects, such as: Wood burning art, derby cars, fishing lures, and bridges (projects could change due to supply availability and other factors)

Students will learn to use power tools safely, follow directions for a project, while at the same time, putting their own creative spin on their work. Students will create and keep a digital portfolio to prepare them for what artists and entrepreneurs do to market themselves digitally.

Students will learn both art concepts, design concepts, and woodworking concepts while in this course.
