What do we do in the Art Workshop?

We use wood as our main media to create works of art. We follow the Minnesota State Art Standards to do our work. Here are some of the things we do:

• Scandinavian Flat Plane Style Carvings

• Spearing Decoys, looking at the history and how the Ojibwe used to spear

• Jig Sticks for ice fishing

• Wood burning

• Fishing Lures

• Cutting boards

• Duck Calls

• Wood Signs
