PEM Preschool – 3-Year-Old Program
PEM’s three-year-old preschool program is an essential introduction to early learning, designed to build the social-emotional and foundational skills necessary for future academic success. The curriculums focuses on six key domains: social-emotional skills, approaches to learning, language, literacy, and communications, creativity and arts, cognitive development (math, science, social systems), and physical development. Preschool Calendar for 2025-2026
The Minnesota READ (Reading to Ensure Academic Development) Act was passed and signed into law by Governor Tim Walz on May 24, 2023. The goal of this legislation is for every Minnesota child, including multilingual learners and students receiving special education services, to be reading at or above grade level. Due to this requirement, our PEM District Calendar, Preschool Calendar, and ECFE Calendar was impacted to include time for staff to fulfill this new mandated training.
