Language Arts

    Fourth grade Language Arts will consist of spelling, vocabulary, sentence structure, journals, creative writing, parts of speech, figurative language, and grammar. Students will be graded on participation, in class work, and writing assignments. The curriculum we use is Scott Foresman's Reading Street.

We will also be working in literacy centers daily that focus on writing, content area reading, skills & strategies, vocabulary/poetry, independent reading, and guided reading.
