Spelling

Each week, your child will receive a list of twelve spelling words. Your child will be tested on those twelve words each Thursday Each week we will add the words from the set to a “big bucket of spelling words.” Every Thursday, I will randomly pull out eight additional words from this bucket for your child’s weekly test. Your child will not know which words will be pulled out until the time of the test. It is important for your child to continually be reviewing words from previous sets. The goal is for your child to embed these words into their long-term memory by continually practicing and reviewing.
