COLLEG REP VISITS

The JFK Career & College Center has in person and virtual visits from college representatives often. The visits are in a casual and relaxed atmosphere usually with a small group of students and the college representative. This is a great way to check out a college, ask questions and let them know that you are interested.

Check the events calendar below often for specific college rep visits and SIGN UP to attend a college rep visit.
ALL students in 11th and 12th grade are welcome to sign up for a college visit. Only sign up for colleges that you are actually interested in (You will not be able attend every visit).

To sign up for a College Rep Visit, you must go through Naviance (Follow steps below):

1. Log into Naviance (Student)

2. Click 'Colleges' and then click 'College Visits'

3. Scroll through the list and select 'Register Now' for college visit(s) that you are interested in attending.

INFORMATION FOR COLLEGE ADMISSION REPRESENTATIVES

Kennedy High School welcomes college admission representatives from across the country and other countries to connect with our students through in-person or virtual visits.

Each fall and spring, we host hundreds of college information sessions. Our students are eager to explore postsecondary opportunities, whether close to home or abroad.

By visiting Kennedy, you'll have the opportunity to meet with motivated, diverse, and college-bound students who bring a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and potential to your campus community.

CAREER SPEAKER PRESENTATIONS

The JFK Career & College Center also has in-person career speakers from a variety of local businesses almost every Thursday during Academic Seminar (ASEM) throughout the school year. This is a great opportunity to learn about a variety of careers, ask questions, and network with area businesses.

MILITARY VISITS

Kennedy High School hosts military visits in the Eagle Hallway during the lunch hours throughout the school year. Military visit dates are listed on the Career and College Center Events Calendar.

Scheduling a Visit: Recruiters interested in visiting Kennedy High School should email Farrah Jennings at fjennings@isd271.org to arrange an appointment. Please note: drop-in visits are not permitted.
