On March 11, the Butte Saga yearbook team at Emmett High School was honored with the Walsworth Gallery of Excellence Award—a prestigious recognition of outstanding scholastic journalism, yearbook design, and storytelling. 🏆✨ Presented in class by Walsworth regional rep Jake Lee, this award cements our 2025 yearbook (Volume 90) as a model of excellence. Our book will now be featured in workshops and online as an exemplar for yearbook staffs across the country. Under the leadership of second-year adviser Molly Worek, our team took bold design risks, embracing a newspaper-inspired aesthetic with faux linen textures, crumpled paper borders, and a striking black, white, gray, red, and EHS blue color scheme. Every spread amplifies student voices with detailed captions, powerful quotes, and creative white space usage—capturing this year’s story in a bold yet timeless way.

Emmett High School Butte Saga Yearbook Disclaimer
The Butte Saga yearbook is created entirely by students, for students. Within the constraints of time and budget, our goal is to provide fair and comprehensive coverage of all aspects of student life at Emmett High School. However, some factors remain beyond our control, and despite our best efforts, occasional errors or omissions may occur. These mistakes are purely accidental and are not intentional on the part of the yearbook staff, advisor, or printer. Additionally, student photographs and names are published as available, which may result in variations in identification. As such, this yearbook is not intended to serve as an official or governmental form of identification. Because of publisher deadlines and the possibilities of students and staff missing picture days, being uncooperative, or unable to find, the Butte Saga staff is not responsible for missing portraits. Failure to take a portrait by the designated date or retake date will result in no photo published in the yearbook. Only students enrolled at EHS are featured in the Butte Saga publication; homeschool, Calvary Christian Academy, Black Canyon, nor PR2TA are included.
By participating in the production and publication of the Butte Saga yearbook, all contributors, including students, staff, and faculty, agree to indemnify and hold harmless Emmett High School, the Butte Saga yearbook staff, the yearbook advisor, and any affiliated individuals or entities from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to the publication of the yearbook. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, claims related to the use of student photographs, names, or any content published within the yearbook on on yearbook-run social media, etc.
