Career Advancement Options
"Career advancement options refer to opportunities for teachers to step into formal teacher leadership roles. Teacher leaders are professional educators who act as change agents to build capacity in self and others to increase effective educator practices and improve student learning." CLSD Q Comp Career Ladder Positions
Per the job descriptions posted in the 2023-2024 Q Comp MOU
PLC Leaders, PLC Facilitators, Peer Coaching Facilitators, and the Financial Coordinator all are two-year terms. At the end of the second year, positions are opened to the current and new applicants. The Q Comp Director position is a three-year term. At the end of the third year, the position will be opened to current and new applicants.
Oversight representatives are also two-year terms are appointed by CLEM Leadership. Contact CLEM C0-President Sheila Wiehl and/or CLEM Co-President Sheryl Spray if you are interested in this position.
